The King  (1)
Is the most important piece, it is the whole point of the game.
You must try to protect your king, your opponent must try to capture your king.
The King can move in any direction, but only square at a time.
The King is normally the largest piece in the chess set.

To capture an opponents piece using the  King, move your King one space in any direction, remove the piece from the chess board and place the King in it's place.

The King moves one space per move.
The King can move in any direction.
The King  needs a clear path.
It CAN NOT  jump over any piece.
