The Pawn, the Pawn is the least powerful piece.
           The Pawn can only move square at a time, except on the first move.
On the first move the Pawn can move either one or two squares. The Pawn moves in straight lines forwards, except when it captures a piece.
Then it moves one square diagonally left or right.  
The Pawn is the smallest piece in the chess set and sometimes looks
            like a smaller version of the Bishop.

To capture an opponents piece using the  Pawn,   move your Pawn one space diagonally (left or right), remove the piece from the chess board and place the Pawn in it's place.

The Pawn moves one space and in one direction per move,
except for the first move, then it can move two squares straight forward.
The Pawn can only move forwards towards your opponent's end of the board.
Once a Pawn reaches the last row of the board it can be swapped for any other chess piece.

YES, YOU CAN HAVE MORE THAN ONE QUEEN
The Pawn  needs a clear path.
It CAN NOT  jump over any piece.
